- The Director of Nursing Research assumes the leadership role in planning, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive Nursing Research Program which impacts clinical, educational and administrative nursing practice at Saint Luke's Hospital. Focuses primarily on the development and coordination of nursing research activities directed toward promoting the application of research findings as evidence-based practice and guiding research proposals/studies of professional nursing staff and students. Collaborates in the development of nursing staff's ability to understand, conduct, critically analyze, and utilize research. The director will be responsible for budget and reports related to nursing research. We are seeking a Nursing Researcher with a PhD in Nursing or related area required; MO. RN licensure required; minimum 2-5 yrs of nursing research and management/leadership experience preferred; minimum 1-2 years nursing research and leadership experience required.
