Department: Surgical Services Practices
Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Day
Hours: 8-4:30
Job Details:
- We are looking for an individual with intermediate to advanced coding knowledge preferably with 5+ years of ICD-9 and CPT coding experience in General Surgery, Trauma, Bariatrics, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. This individual must hold a CPC certification and be able to effectively communicate with and provide education to physicians. Activities will include but are not limited to coding and charge entry with appropriate delegation of work load to current coding staff. This person will also work closely with the billing department, office staff and current coders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of charges entered.
